Cyber Emergency Response
This course is designed to provide cross-functional teams consisting of participants with backgrounds in Business Continuity, Emergency Management and Cybersecurity with the principles of Cyber Emergency Response. It provides the fundamentals of cyber resiliency, supporting instruction from NIST, FEMA, and NIMS, and the course concludes with a hands-on Table Top and Cyber Range Exercise that brings everything together.

Earners of the Cyber Emergency Response digital badge, issued by By Light, have completed the Cyber Emergency Response course in full.
Knowledge Level Knowledge Level (0-5)
This course will take you from a basic Knowledge Level (KL) of zero for key terms through a KL of 5, representing a working knowledge of custom tools in cybersecurity that includes using commercial tools in a cyber range.
Time Required Time Required - 20 hours
This includes instructor-led or self-paced study, hands-on labs, a capstone exercise completed in a cyber range (CyberCENTS), and knowledge assessments.
Pre-Requisites - None
Knowledge of Business Operations, Information Technology and Network Fundamentals across the team of participants is recommended but not required as a requisite. Throughout the course, optional material will be provided to gain this solid foundation.
